HDFC Bank posted a net profit of ₹11,750 crore for Q2 FY26, up 18 percent year-on-year, supported by balanced loan expansion and stable net interest margins of 4.13 percent. Total advances rose 13 percent YoY, while deposits increased 17 percent to ₹23.9 lakh crore. Asset quality remained strong with gross NPA at 1.24 percent. Management emphasized technology-led cost control and consistent retail lending as key growth drivers. 

Analysts said the bank’s steady margins and credit quality reaffirm its leading position in India’s private-sector banking landscape.
