HDFC Bank shares traded higher after the lender reported a 15% year-on-year increase in average deposits for the September 2025 quarter. According to its Q2 business update, total deposits reached ₹25.2 lakh crore, while advances rose 12% YoY to ₹22.8 lakh crore. The growth was supported by strong traction in retail and corporate lending segments. Analysts said the update reflects steady balance-sheet momentum and improving liability mix ahead of the bank’s quarterly results.
