Odisha joins GeoSmart India 2025 summit to highlight geospatial innovation in smart cities and infrastructure.
The state government of Odisha has been formally invited to participate in GeoSmart India 2025, scheduled in New Delhi on 3‑4 December 2025.
The summit will bring together over 2,500 delegates and 300 expert speakers across 12 thematic programmes exploring smart cities, digital governance, water‑and‑agriculture linkages, and satellite‑mapping. Its theme, “One Nation, One Map – Advancing Geospatial Infrastructure for National Sovereignty and Economy”, emphasises the role of space and geospatial technologies in critical sectors and inclusive urban transformation.
Odisha’s nomination of officials and showcase of regional use‑cases could strengthen its digital‑infrastructure credentials and attract investment in mapping, remote‑sensing and city‑planning solutions.
