India has launched the World Technology Summit 2025 in Pune in collaboration with MIT World Peace University and the World Technology Institute, convening global leaders in science, policy and investment. The summit’s aim is to establish the first “WT Community - Custodians of the Realms”, which will steer research priorities, fund-flows and global collaborations across tech, human-centred innovation and sustainability. With India positioning itself as a hub for global innovation, the event will run through the week and feature keynotes from top academics and industry stalwarts. Given India’s push in frontier technologies and startup growth, the summit could catalyse greater inward investment and cross-border R&D partnerships going forward.
