Auto-supplier Motherson Sumi Wiring posts 9% profit rise on 19% revenue growth
Motherson Sumi Wiring’s Q2 net profit rose 9% to ₹165 crore, revenue climbed 19% to ₹2,762 crore, while input-costs increased 19.
Motherson Sumi Wiring India, a wiring-harness supplier for carmakers including Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors, posted a 9% year-on-year rise in Q2 net profit to ₹165 crore (US$19 million) for the quarter ended 30 September 2025. The company’s revenue grew 19% to ₹2,762 crore, but expenses increased by 19.5% to ₹2,542 crore owing to higher copper prices and ramp-up costs at a new greenfield plant.

Analysts say the margin squeeze remains a concern even as festive demand boosted volumes slightly.
