Grasim Industries delivers double-digit profit surge in second-quarter earnings

Grasim Industries reported robust financials for Q2 FY25-26, recording revenue of ₹39,900 crore, up 18% year-on-year, and a 41% surge in net profit to ₹1,437 crore. The company’s gross profit climbed 38% to ₹2,973 crore. The strong performance was driven by improved realizations in the viscose and chemicals business segments, coupled with steady contribution from the cement division via UltraTech. Management reaffirmed its capex plans for upcoming capacity expansions and noted stable demand outlook across core industrial verticals.
