Maxima, a one-year-old San Mateo startup, closed a $41 million funding round led by Kleiner Perkins and Redpoint Ventures to advance its AI-first accounting platform. The company claims zero-error processing of millions of transactions for customers such as Scale AI, Rippling and SpotOn, and aims to replace legacy tools from SAP and Blackline with agent-based automation.
