Chennai-based spacetech firm Agnikul Cosmos has secured a funding round of ₹150 crore (approximately US$17 million) at a valuation of US$500 million. Backed by institutional investors and family offices including HDFC Bank, Artha Select Fund, 100X.VC and others, the funds will be used to scale manufacturing of rockets, expand its 350-acre campus in Tamil Nadu, and accelerate development of reusable launch vehicle technology.
The raise underscores growing investor interest in India’s private space sector.
