ReNew to invest ₹82,000 crore in full renewable-energy value chain in Andhra Pradesh
ReNew Energy is targeting a ₹82,000 crore investment in Andhra Pradesh across solar manufacturing, green hydrogen and wind-solar generation as part of India’s energy transition.
Decarbonisation solutions firm ReNew Energy announced a planned investment of ₹82,000 crore in Andhra Pradesh to cover the entire renewable-energy value chain—from solar-ingot and wafer manufacturing to green-hydrogen and molecules production. The firm will develop project-scale solar & wind generation plus downstream green-hydrogen capacity. The investment was disclosed by the Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh, who described the move as a major “all-in investment” in the state.

The rollout is expected to support India’s broader push toward energy-transition and local manufacturing leadership.
