The government of Karnataka approved a new Startup Policy for 2025‑30 with an outlay of ₹518 crore, aiming to create 25,000 new ventures including 10,000 in regions outside Bengaluru.
The plan emphasises funding, incubation, mentorship, global market access, and regulatory support for emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain and quantum computing.
