Indian startup funding dips to ~US$238 m in week ending 7 Nov despite AI interest

Startup funding in India shrinks this week, but AI-driven investment remains a bright spot.
For the week Nov 3–7 2025, Indian startups raised around US$237.8 m across 20 disclosed deals, down 36% from the previous week’s US$371 m.
MoEngage led the growth-stage rounds with a US$100 m Series F, while AI-sector startups accounted for approximately US$67.6 m of the total.
Analysts say the drop reflects deal fatigue, though investor focus on AI infrastructure and B2B remains strong.
