Mutual Funds AUM Hits Record High Amid Global Uncertainty

India's passive funds saw a surge in assets under management (AUM), rising by 5.2% to Rs 13.67 lakh crore in October. This growth was driven by Rs 16,668 crore in inflows, with gold ETFs accounting for Rs 7,743 crore amid ongoing global uncertainty. Over the last decade, India's mutual fund assets have skyrocketed six fold to $635.3 billion, boosting capital markets and providing growth capital to startups.
