Aditya Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company announced the launch of its ESG Equity Fund, a diversified equity scheme integrating environmental, social, and governance metrics into stock selection. The new fund offer closes next week and seeks to raise about $100 million ( ₹835 crore). Management said the product aligns with rising investor preference for sustainable investments and India’s commitment to green-growth finance.
The fund will benchmark against the Nifty 100 ESG Index and maintain at least 80 percent allocation to ESG-screened equities. Distribution will leverage digital channels and partner banks nationwide.
