Franklin Templeton launches data-driven India Multi-Factor equity fund

Franklin Templeton introduced a Multi-Factor equity fund in India, opening on 10 Nov with ₹5,000 minimum and factor-based stock allocation strategy.
Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund launched the “India Multi-Factor Fund”, an open-ended equity scheme employing quantitative stock-selection models, with an NFO opening 10 November and closing 24 November at unit price ₹10. The minimum investment is ₹5,000 while SIP starts at ₹500. The fund aims to deploy factor-based investments across market caps and will convert to regular open-ended status from 2 December.
Asset-management firms say factor investing is gaining traction amid heightened valuation dispersion and rotational markets.
