Mutual Fund Assets Reach ₹75.61 Lakh Crore as SIP Flows Hit Record Levels

The Indian mutual fund industry achieved a new high in September 2025, with total assets under management touching ₹75.61 lakh crore, up 12.7% year-on-year. Equity-oriented schemes accounted for the bulk of inflows, rising nearly 9.5% over the previous year. Monthly SIP contributions surged to ₹29,361 crore, highlighting deepening retail participation across smaller cities. While debt categories saw notable outflows, hybrid and thematic funds maintained traction. Industry experts attributed the milestone to long-term wealth creation focus and sustained investor confidence amid moderating inflation.
