Gold & Silver ETFs Capture 71.9% of India’s Passive Inflows in September

In September 2025, gold and silver exchange traded funds accounted for 71.9 % of total passive fund inflows in India, attracting ₹19,057 crore out of total passive flows. The surge signals investor preference for safe-haven metal exposure amid market volatility. According to AMFI, the passive fund AUM now stands at ₹12.99 lakh crore. The trend underscores a rotation from equities to commodity-backed instruments.
