Kotak Mahindra AMC has temporarily suspended all lumpsum and switch-in investments in its Kotak Silver ETF Fund of Fund from October 10, 2025. The move follows a 10–12% premium in domestic silver over import parity due to severe supply shortages. MD Nilesh Shah said the step protects investors from inflated entry levels. SIPs, STPs, and redemptions remain unaffected. Spot silver recently crossed $51/oz, with festive demand and import delays fueling the premium, though long-term outlook stays bullish.
