Asian stocks rally on rising Fed rate-cut hopes

Asian equities climbed as investors increased bets on a December rate cut by the U.S. Federal Reserve. The MSCI Asia Pacific index (ex-Japan) rose 0.4%, driven by gains in Japan’s Nikkei and South Korea’s Kospi, both up more than 1%. A softer dollar and renewed risk-on sentiment helped gold and bitcoin reverse recent losses.
