Gold remained steady across Coimbatore, Visakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar and Mysuru during evening trade, with most markets quoting 24-carat prices between ₹12,820 and ₹12,900 per gram. Local jewellers reported stable footfall with selective wholesale restocking. Silver posted a marginal uptick, trading between ₹1,72,200 and ₹1,74,000 per kg across these metros.
Analysts pointed to firm COMEX gold levels, reduced volatility in the dollar index and improved festive orders as key contributors to bullion’s stable performance across regional hubs.
