Gold traded with a steady bias in evening sessions as global spot prices remained supported by softer Treasury yields. Jaipur reported 24-carat prices near ₹12,860 per gram, while Surat held around ₹12,795. Patna saw modest demand-led firmness near ₹12,875, and Lucknow experienced stable retail enquiries. Silver saw slight improvement, averaging ₹1,71,500–₹1,73,500 per kg.
Market analysts noted that subdued US data and persistent geopolitical uncertainty strengthened bullion’s appeal, keeping intraday fluctuations contained across regional markets.
