On 6 November 2025, State Bank of India (SBI) announced its intent to sell a 6.3% stake in its subsidiary SBI Funds Management via an initial public offering, with co-promoter Amundi set to divest 3.7%, totalling 10% of equity. The asset-management firm, which manages around ₹120 billion ($1.37 billion) of assets, posted net profit growth of 15% in the first half of the fiscal year. The IPO is expected to take place in 2026 and forms part of India’s expanding primary-market activity.
