LSEG partners with Anthropic to bring financial-data access to Claude users

The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) said it is collaborating with AI startup Anthropic to provide financial-data access to users of Claude, Anthropic’s AI platform. Through the deal, LSEG’s Workspace and Financial Analytics products will be made available to Claude customers, enabling tasks like earnings-call summaries, due-diligence scans and automated market-signal generation. LSEG shares jumped as much as 1.7% after the announcement. The collaboration underscores the growing integration between data providers and AI platforms in financial services.
