DBS and Banque Saudi Fransi unite to streamline Asia–Gulf trade payments

Singapore’s DBS Bank and Saudi Arabia’s Banque Saudi Fransi have partnered to enhance trade finance and cross-border payments between Asia and the Gulf. The collaboration aims to modernize settlement flows, accelerate remittances, and expand currency-clearing access across key corridors. Announced during the Sibos conference in Frankfurt, the move leverages DBS’s GlobeSend infrastructure for real-time settlements. The alliance reinforces deepening economic ties between Southeast Asia and the GCC amid digital banking expansion.
