This shift signals structural supply-chain transition into higher value-added and advanced manufacturing capability.
Government officials are also preparing a new skill financing scheme proposal for the upcoming Union Budget cycle to accelerate high-skill labour pipeline creation, aligning with PLI-linked semiconductor, mobility tech, and advanced component manufacturing clusters expected to scale through FY26 and FY27.
