A new AI-based learning tool called Supernova AI is drawing attention after its creator, Maharishi, an IIT Madras graduate, set out to solve India’s longstanding challenge with spoken English. Despite widespread access to books, apps, and video lessons, millions still understand English but struggle to speak it confidently. Maharishi observed this gap firsthand while watching his parents attempt a WhatsApp based spoken English course, only to find that the lack of real speaking practice limited progress.
