Bengaluru-based Luma AI has closed a $900 million Series C funding round led by Saudi-backed HUMAIN, with participation from AMD Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz and Matrix Partners. The capital will support development of a multimodal artificial general intelligence platform capable of integrating simulation, robotics and designing physical-world understanding by leveraging HUMAIN’s 2-gigawatt Project Halo supercluster in Saudi Arabia.
The company will expand engineering operations in India and integrate its offerings into global next-gen AI services.
