Nvidia and Nokia have formed a strategic partnership worth up to $1 billion to develop AI-powered Radio Access Network (AI-RAN) solutions for future 6G infrastructure. The collaboration will combine Nvidia’s GPU expertise with Nokia’s telecom infrastructure capabilities to enable adaptive network optimization and energy-efficient base-stations.
The project targets global commercial deployments by 2026 across Europe and North America. Industry analysts believe AI-RAN could significantly reduce latency and power usage for enterprise and consumer applications in the 6G era.
