Vast Data Signs $1.17 B Deal to Power AI Infrastructure

Vast Data, a data-platform firm backed by NVIDIA Corporation, has inked a $1.17 billion multi-year agreement with cloud provider CoreWeave to serve as its primary data platform for GPU-powered AI workloads. The deal underscores the rising demand for specialised infrastructure in generative ­AI. Vast Data, which reported about $200 million in annual recurring revenue earlier this year, is also rumoured to be planning a funding round with a potential valuation near $30 billion.
