China’s ShengShu launches Vidu Q2 video-creation AI model to rival global platforms

Beijing-based AI firm ShengShu today introduced its Vidu Q2 generative-video platform which supports narrative video creation by uploading first and last frames and generates animated intermediate frames. The model is designed for industrial and creative use-cases such as EV-factory simulations and marketing videos. ShengShu claims that Vidu Q2 significantly reduces cost and time compared to competitor solutions. Early commercial users in China’s automotive manufacturing sector are testing the model on production workflows and training-simulations, expanding generative-AI use beyond consumer content to enterprise operations.
