AP IT Minister Nara Lokesh laid the foundation stone for Sify Technologies’ ₹1,500 crore AI Edge Data Center and Open Cable Landing Station in Visakhapatnam. The 50 MW facility being built on 3.6 acres aims to enhance AI computing at the network edge and strengthen India's subsea connectivity. Officials said the project will generate over 1,000 jobs and position Visakhapatnam as a global digital gateway. (Business Standard)
