India-based startup Sophrosyne Technologies has secured a $2 million seed round led by Chennai-based Bluehill VC to advance its biosensing system-on-chip (SoC) for wearables that simultaneously monitor ECG, PPG, breathing, temperature and other physiological signals. The Bengaluru-born firm will use the funds to move from prototype silicon to full development, expand its engineering team and begin early customer deployment in India and abroad. The company also recently cleared the MeitY Design Linked Incentive grant scheme.
