Anthropic, the AI startup behind the Claude models, has reached a valuation of $350 billion following a major investment deal with Microsoft and Nvidia. The deal includes up to $15 billion in investments from these tech giants in exchange for equity and strategic collaboration. Additionally, Anthropic has committed to spending $30 billion on Microsoft Azure cloud services, powered by Nvidia hardware, to support its AI research and enterprise offerings. Despite being privately held, Anthropic’s significant backing has made it one of the most valuable AI startups globally, attracting major institutional investors like Fidelity and BlackRock.
