As of the end of October 2025, India’s mutual fund industry’s Assets Under Management (AUM) reached approximately ₹79.88 lakh crore, driven by net inflows of around ₹2.16 lakh crore. Equity schemes attracted about ₹24,690 crore despite a month‑on‑month drop of 18.8 %, while debt schemes saw inflows of approximately ₹1.60 lakh crore after two months of outflows. Passive fund inflows were also strong, supported by gold ETFs and systematic investment plans (SIPs) which recorded a new high of roughly ₹29,529 crore.
