The India Deep Tech Alliance, an initiative launched to support India’s research-driven startups, has added major players such as Nvidia Corporation, Qualcomm Ventures, InfoEdge and Kalaari Capital to its membership. The group announced over US$850 million in capital commitments to support deep-tech sectors including space, semiconductors, AI and robotics. Originally launched in September with a US$1 billion pledge, the alliance aims to bridge longstanding funding gaps in India’s deep-tech ecosystem and boost R&D efforts over the next 5-10 years.
