Funding activity in the Indian startup ecosystem recorded a noticeable decline during the week of November 10–15, with companies collectively raising $169.28 million. This reflects a 30.3 percent decrease compared to the previous week’s total of $242.88 million. The reduction highlights weaker participation across growth-stage and early-stage rounds, with several mid-sized deals failing to materialize. Sectoral distribution remained diverse, but average cheque sizes contracted as investors adopted a selective approach. Despite the weekly dip, analysts noted that late-stage funding interest is intact, although deployments continue to be paced cautiously.
