Net profit rose 16.7% to ₹42,107 crore as companies benefited from lower input costs, improved pricing power, and operational efficiencies. Analysts said the performance reflected healthy domestic fundamentals and a diversified earnings base rather than dependence on a few large industries. With credit conditions stable and corporate balance sheets strong, earnings momentum appears structurally supported.
