Ashok Leyland posted a consolidated Q2 FY26 net profit of ₹820 crore, up 7% year-on-year, on revenue of ₹12,577 crore, which increased 13% from the prior year. The commercial vehicle maker recorded its highest-ever quarterly volume, supported by demand recovery in medium and heavy trucks. EBITDA rose 11% to ₹1,340 crore, while margins remained stable at 10.7%. The company attributed growth to strong domestic sales and improved export performance. Ashok Leyland announced plans to accelerate electric bus deployment and expand its defense vehicle portfolio.
