The India Deep Tech Alliance has added major members including Nvidia and secured more than $850 million in committed capital to back Indian startups in space, semiconductors, AI and robotics. The alliance, launched with an initial pledge of $1 billion, now aims to channel funds and strategic support into research-driven ventures facing long development cycles. While deep-tech funding in India reached $1.6 billion last year (about one-fifth of total VC flows), backers say the new push seeks to bridge large technology gaps and accelerate innovation-led growth.
