The initiative will add new data-centre regions in Mumbai and Hyderabad to meet rising enterprise AI demand. Reliance Jio will integrate Azure services into its business cloud platform, offering AI tools for SMEs. Executives said the collaboration strengthens India’s AI computing backbone and supports data-sovereignty goals. Analysts see it as a competitive response to Google and AWS expansion. The rollout is scheduled to begin early 2026 pending regulatory approval.
