Major tech players Google LLC and Amazon Inc. are seeing multi-billion-dollar gains from their early investments in AI startup Anthropic, now valued at roughly US$183 billion. Google logged about US$10.7 billion and Amazon US$9.5 billion in paper gains as computing-infrastructure deals and model-deployments with Anthropic accelerated. The case highlights how early bets in generative-AI and foundation-models are already shifting earnings dynamics for large tech firms and signalling the strategic value of private–public-AI partnerships.
