LyondellBasell Industries (LYB) reported adjusted earnings of US$1.01 per share in Q3 2025, beating analysts’ estimate of US$0.81. However, the chemicals-maker recorded a net loss of US$890 million, largely due to US$1.2 billion in non-cash asset write-downs tied to European operations.
