U.S. semiconductor leader Nvidia announced it will supply more than 260,000 of its most advanced AI-chips to South Korea’s government and top corporations including Samsung Electronics, signalling a major export deal and deepening AI-hardware integration in the region. The chips are built around Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture and support large-scale AI and computing workloads. The move underscores the growing global demand for AI infrastructure and intensifies competition and supply-chain dynamics in the semiconductor sector.
