Nvidia Corporation is reportedly planning an investment of up to US$1 billion into AI startup Poolside as part of a broader US defence-AI and commercial-AI infrastructure build-out. The deal comes as Poolside targets a US$2 billion funding round at a pre-money valuation of approximately US$12 billion, according to people familiar with the matter. Nvidia’s initial commitment may start at around US$500 million and rise if fundraising conditions are met. Poolside is focused on coding-assistant AI platforms and is seen as a potential strategic partner for large-scale GPU and inference architecture.
