Catalyx Space, an Indian-founded space-tech startup, has secured US $5.4 million in a seed funding round to accelerate development of spacecraft buses and reusable re-entry platforms. The company, founded in 2024, already launched its first satellite in collaboration with ISRO and next aims to launch a 100 kg satellite in 2026. The new capital will fund its “Cosmotron” bus and “Rex” re-entry capsule, targeting commercial and defence markets. Catalyx’s goal is to make space applications as easy to deploy as software services.
