Singapore-based alternative asset manager Lighthouse Canton plans to deploy more than **US$1.5 billion** in India over the next three to four years, focusing on private-credit deals (more than US$1 billion) and real-estate investments (~US$500 million). The firm has already committed US$350 million to Indian alternative assets and will launch a dedicated private-credit fund targeting ₹10-15 billion (~US$114-171 million) by January 2026. The move reflects global investor appetite for India’s under-penetrated private-credit market, estimated at US$25-30 billion in AUM.
