Venture-capital firm Accel and global investor Prosus have announced a partnership to co-invest in early-stage Indian startups, especially in deep-tech, advanced manufacturing and AI-driven automation. Under the tie-up, Prosus will match Accel’s capital commitments in the Atoms X programme, with cheque sizes in the seed-to-Series A range between US$200,000 and US$2 million. The collaboration is aimed at supporting “LeapTech” ventures and scaling India’s innovation ecosystem beyond traditional software startups.
